I’m Olivia Kaiser, the founder & artist of Shiloh & Ellery, a Geelong design-based business established in August 2022 with the desire to bring joy through beautiful, consciously created paper goods & art.
I became self-taught in graphic design in April 2022 several months into being severely unwell with two sudden-onset chronic conditions (POTS and ME) in late 2021.
I find my inspiration through the beautiful forms, colours & details of nature. I love sun-kissed tones, mushrooms, being active and chai tea!

My Story
In late 2021 I became severely unwell with two sudden-onset chronic conditions, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia (POTS) and Myalgic Encephalomylitis (ME). For over a year and a half I was unable to drive, work or even get out of bed many days due to huge fatigue & weakness.
It was in this time of sickness that I was challenged to try graphic design in April the following year when I was surprised with my drawing tablet. Looking back now, I am grateful that those endless days of exhaustion provided me with a rare opportunity to learn and rediscover the passion for art from my childhood.
Being able to draw & create amidst all the bed rest and bad days became such a joy & freedom. It has been far from an easy journey but I feel blessed to have found a new way forward doing something that I love.
